I used to do these page-based comics all the time, and when my laptop crashed over the break, I had a little free time on my hands. I decided to start up a new one, with the concept of "a modern day adventure".
The plot focuses on the adventures of Alex, a stubborn, cliché obsessed fool, and Matt, a mild mannered "sad sack". Along with Naomi, the strong-willed token female character, they take on the evil Paul, a previously non-evil Assistant Manager of Corporate and Finance. Of course, none of their names are ever mentioned in the comic - that was a future joke.
This comic is as of yet unfinished, but I did manage to do 2.5 pages before I fixed my computer (and lost my free time in the process...). I was planning about six pages, and the next time my computer breaks I'll probably finish this up. The art style is what I call "just good enough", to enable the kind of quantity I needed to do, but it's not that bad considering the first page was drawn on a plane flight.

I have written the intros of about four novels now (over 30 pages each), but as they range from 4 to 8 years old, the writing style is significantly worse. I've decided not to upload them, since they are lengthy, unfinished, and rough.
What I have uploaded is a series of short one-page stories that I have written more recently. They are designed to be very visual and metaphorical, and have a common theme in black and white imagery. Eventually, I plan on compiling them into a series called "The Black and White Pages".
Each story has a particular message, and the tones of these messages are all over the place. I tried to incorporate humorous imagery into some of them, as I found it added a lot to their overall visual quality. However, "Sunshine Fades" would definitely fall into the horror genre, as it is one of the weirdest and scariest stories I've ever written...
