Random Pixel Art

I used to do a lot of pixel art, and I would highly recommend Graphics Gale for this purpose, as it is both free and amazing for this style. It's good to have another program specifically designed for low-res spriting, as Photoshop is probably the worst program ever made for this.

Here's some really early work I did for the Silent project. Originally, the game was going to have a Cave Story-esque style, but I have since moved to a larger resolution than 640x480. This spritesheet was good for working out the characters, though - it actually predates all the concept sketches for Aran, Reana, and Aluraine.

Here's the earliest image of Reana Sempre, the main character in Unseen.

Here's a pixel art portrait I did of another student at RPI (for a class, but I went way overboard...). It's under 64 colors, and I did it in about 4 hours.
