Synopsis:

A song written in about four hours, for a 48-hour game jam called the "Health Jam". In addition to a health-oriented refreshment table of carrot sticks, orange juice, etc (which I was not happy with...), the games were required to use a giant xml file of nutritional information to educate young players on how to eat healthy.

I did double-duty on this project, and intentionally avoided programming for my own personal growth. I made 17 enemy food sprites, in addition to this music track, which I composed and mixed entirely in the time-frame. While it needs some work, it does have a solid melody and some nice effects, in addition to capturing the requested "tenseness" of the gameplay. My favorite aspect is the echoing atmospheric flutes that enter at 0:32, and my least favorite part is the completely improvised synth in the second half. Oh well, I will eventually OCD that part and get it sounding just right...
